Infinity war had a big impact on us in the end as we saw one by one each Avenger dying in front of us because Thanos snapped his fingers with a metal gauntlet on(that is the tru superpower). We thought Ant Man and The Wasp would give us answers to some of our questions and give us a teaser for the next movie. Well, It gave us the answer where Ant Man was during the end of Infinity War. And it blew our minds. I’m still recovering the aftereffects of the movie. Beware, spoilers ahead.
So the main plot of the movie is that Hank Pym And his daughter Hope Van Dyne are fugitives now because they made the Ant Man suit that Scott used in Germany for Captain America’s aid and Scott is under house arrest. Hank and Hope are trying to get Janet( Hope’s mom) out of the quantum realm in which she has been stuck in for 30 years now. Unfortunately, someone else is trying to get her as well. The villain Ghost needs her for something which I won’t tell and she is hell bent on opening the quantum realm.
Now, post credit scene time. In the end, Ghost turns into Ant Man’s ally but needs power from the quantum realm constantly if she has to survive. Scott goes into the quantum realm to refill their jar of quantum realm power but is now stuck their because while he was in there, Thanos snapped his fingers and Hank, Janet as well as Hope don’t feel so good anymore. Thus, no one can help him and he is stuck there.
The movie was awesome. It was hilarious and I daresay, better than the first. Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lily are awesome duos and the side characters are good too. Some people may say that this movie was a huge let down after Infinity war and I strongly disagree. This movie is what I was hoping for.
